Create reusable content document

Manager users in the Authors role can create a reusable content document.

When the folder tree is displayed.

  1. Select the folder to create the document within.

  2. Select Details & Actions > New.

    The New document/folder form displays.

  3. Complete the following fields:

    Field

    Instruction

    Type

    Select Reusable content.

    Name

    Type the document name.

    Note: Use a name that is easily identifiable for all authors.

    Description

    Optional.

    Type a description of the document. This description displays in Viewer Viewers are users with Read-only access to documents. They can access documents and submit feedback to editors when the mouse hovers over the document.

  1. Click Save.

    The document is created.

    Note: The read and write permissions are inherited from the read and write permissions of the folder.

  2. To make changes to the document, click Edit .

    The document displays.

  3. Add/modify content as necessary. see Editor.
  4. Click .

    The document is saved.
